Hi All,
We have some auto activities which is in running state even after the program which handles completed sucessfully. Can anybody tell me the reason, why this auto activities are still in running state?. Although, I found more than 200 messages in the excecution server hold queue. Is this two activities ( hold queue message & running state )has any relation ?.

Thanks and Regards,
BMCA.

Hi,

of course there is a relation between the HQ messages and the running
auto-activities!
However I doubt that the correlated process instances are in finished
state!
What has happened:
because of some (DB) problems the server could not process the completion
messages of the auto-activities
and put these messages on the Hold Queue. Therefore the server keeps these
activities in state Running
until the completion messages have been replayed and processed by the
server.

Before you replay the messages you need to figure out the root problem (DB
problem?) by investigating
the system log and error log. Once you have fixed this problem, you can
replay the HQ messages so
that process navigation can continue. First replay only one single message
to make sure that the
problem is really fixed and the message is not put onto the HQ again.
