Can I get the number of unread POP3 emails (using ASP.NET)? I googled so much but I can't find any solution

Hi,
The bottom line is you can't. However, don't feel bad, this is a very common question.

The POP3 protocol is one of the older email protocols, and does not support any type of "read" or "unseen" type of feature. However, if you have it available, the IMAP protocol supports this type of functionality.

If you can't use the IMAP protocol, the only other option you have is to keep track of which emails have been read.
