how do i extend the ASPNETDB?11/15/2005 11:42:34 PM

0/0

I'm trying to customize the CreateUserWizard to store two more fields: Firstname and Lastname.

I've added two fields to the table ASPNET_USERS: FirstName and LastName

I've added the parameters to the following Stored Procs: aspnet_Membership_CreateUser and aspnet_Users_CreateUser

Now, I'm lost how to hook up the CreateUserWizard to work with the extending fields in the ASPNETDB.MDF. Obviously the entry points to these stored procs need the new parameters, but i have no idea how the stored procs are being called from the CreateUserWizard.

Any ideas? or am i doing this totally wrong?

Thanks for any helps!

You should probably treat this as custom profile data.  Scott Guthrie has a tutorial here: http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2005/10/18/427754.aspx
