Mixing windows authentication with forms authentication2/8/2007 9:32:38 PM

I've seen some post on this forum regarding mixing the forms authentication with the windows one.

Most interesting was the post http://forums.asp.net/2/460035/ShowThread.aspx but also others

 

My questions is if there is other solutions for ASP.NET 2.0 or not?

If you are using ActiveDirectory as the store for your windows credentials, I talk about how you can use forms authentication that has ActiveDirectory users/roles as the data source for the MembershipProvider and RolesProvider in my post "Leveraging Active Directory As A Membership and Role Management Data Store in ASP.NET 2.0". This is more how to use the ASP.NET provider model with ActiveDirectory membership and roles than about seamless integration.
