Hi,

Currently, as I am sure you know VS2K5 currently saves SLNs to

C:\Documents and Settings\[profile name]\My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Projects

What would be nice (I own the orange VS2K5) - would be - the option to save the SLN in the same location as the rest of the website (currently I have to move the SLN to the folder where I am working)

because if I have to restore from a back up the SLN is lost and I am not sure how to make a new one....

and yes I know you can configure where the SLN is saved under options -> projects and solutions - but that puts it in one location, not with every project.....

I honestly thought they would take it under consideration....

The "fact" based upon my personal experience ( if you look at their feedback site ( you will need to tusts anout a dozen pages to egt to the entry page), then the searches are off, as they have this weid sceam which "hides" critical issues..

You will see that they have set this site up like an "Indian" call center, with canned nonsense responses which have the sole aim of pissing of anyone reporting their own bugs!!

Its pure marketing at its best, feel good we are doing nothing, but hope you feel good doing our work for us!!

Search for "crashes" and see the inaction...

oh ok, hmmmm...i guess i am not used to that...most people (where i come from anyway...) generally do what they say they are going to do....and it usually gets done.....anyway thanks for the information on that.....i guess i will take your word on it, as no-one seems to be disagreeing with you....
