Hi

I have been working with VS for a little over 6 months now and I haven't had any problems with it untill yesterday.

This is what happens:

1. I open VS - everything is ok
2. I open a solution containing 5 projects. all projects are under source control in TFS. Everything is ok... I can get latest (or not - doesn't matter)
3. I leave VS untouched for approx 1 min and then everything goes crazy!!! devenv.exe starts using 85-99 % of the CPU and it eats the memory byte by byte.

I have tried leaving it, hoping for it to "cool down" but it stays like this.

Have anyone else tried anything like this? Any clue on what might be the problem or how to find out why it is going crazy?

As far as I can see it doesn't communicate with the TFS at all while it is in this state.

Pease please help me someone..... I'm not in the mood for reinstalling :'(

I think I located the error.... or at least the cause for the error. It seems it is related to Intellisense's traverse of the graph...

To get this fix, contact PSS by using the contact numbers at http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support and provide the KB number to the PSS personnel as 910832.
