We are planning to migrate Netware 6.5 SP5 eDirectory version 8.7.3.7
directly to SuSE Linux 10.1 SP2 and OES2 SP1. The complecation is
Novell Cluster Services running NSS mirroring. I can not see any
problems with this but being a cautious bunny thought I would ask the
community if anyone has done this before and where there any gotcha's.

Of course eDirectory will also be upgraded to 8.8 SP4 at the same
time.

Are you going to migrate the ID of the server? If not I would just add
a Linux OES 2 node to the cluster rather than migrate the data. No
matter how you do it I would get up the the latest SP for NW 6.5. If
you want to be extra cautious you can break the mirror so you have a
good backup.
