I'm using VS2005 SP1 and I have problem when develop asp.net Projects. In my aspx page I cannot choose the asp.net control at toolbox because it's invisible. The image as follows:

There is some problem with XP and VS2005 SP1,if u can change your OS to vista then it may work fine..but before jumping into any conclusion

If we run ?devenv.exe /safemode?, do we still have the problem? This can eliminate the possibility that third party Add-ins are causing problems.

Besides, we can "devenv  /resetskippkgs" or "devenv /setup" in Visual Studio Command Prompt to merge the resource metadata that describes menus, toolbars, and command groups from all VSPackages available.

We also can try to run "devenv.exe  /log <full path to log file>" to generate log file to troubleshoot this issue.
