Access 2007 Query Design View Error10/28/2008
Reply
I created a database last year in version 2003 and have since updated my Office suite to 2007 (with SP1). I have opened this database (frontend) without converting and find that I am unable to view queries containing 2 or more tables in design view. I receive the error "is not a valid name...

I know it is not a problem with the query itself since it can still be opened in datasheet view or SQL view. I only have 3 tables, all 3 are linked, 1 to a SQL database and the othe 2 are stored in a backend Access database.

Queries with single tables open fine in Design View. FYI I do not have any security on this database and am running Win XP SP2.

I have come across other postings about this same error, but haven't yet seen a resolution.

Please help. Thanks!!!!!
